Our Story
From a small workshop to a thriving creative education hub - our journey of growth and impact.
The Beginning
Creative Makers Hub started as a small weekend workshop in Val-d'Or, Quebec, founded by three friends passionate about sharing their creative skills. Our first class had just 12 students learning basic woodworking techniques.
Expanding Our Reach
We expanded our curriculum to include fashion design and home decor programs. Moved to our current location at 490 Chem. de Vassan and established our first dedicated studio spaces for different creative disciplines.
Digital Transformation
Pivoted to online learning during the pandemic, developing our signature live online format with materials kits. This allowed us to reach students across Canada and beyond, tripling our enrollment.
Community Recognition
Received the Quebec Creative Education Award and established partnerships with local arts organizations. Launched our scholarship program to increase accessibility for underrepresented communities.
Looking Forward
Celebrated our 2,500th student and expanded our team to 15 expert instructors. Currently developing advanced masterclass programs and planning our first international creative retreats.
